As of March 31, 2023, all Apex Training Solutions workplace first aid course names have been updated and changed to comply with NEW naming conventions in CSA Standard Z1210-17 (R2021).Â

Portal Naming Conventions
The Apex Portal uses the following naming conventions:
- When you purchase a course, you do it for a “Group” of students.
- A “Cohort” is all of the students in a Group.
- A “Member” is a student in a Group.
- “Blended” refers to a course that combines an online component with an in-class component.
- “In-class” refers to a course you teach in a live setting.
- “Seats” refers to the number of students you will enroll in a group.

Buy a course for a group of students
Buy a blended or in-class course and take advantage of the Apex portal's management tools. Enroll students after you purchase the group course.
Add students to a group
Buy more seats for your group. Add students to your group.
View, export, and edit a group roster.
Print the roster and take it with you to class. Edit to update student information.
Update student records after training is completed
Add instructors and update FA and CPR status. Record students who pass the course. Automatically generate a certificate and notify students.
View or export a group course report
The report includes completion status, which helps you track group members who complete their training on different dates.
View or export a group quiz report
Only available for Part 1 of blended courses
View or export group progress report
See an overview all groups or drill down to class or student level.
